Took over 2 hours to get to the Derby venue. The winning time was 14:45, and the last to cross the finishing line was 33:27.
I completed the 5K distance in a time of 22:19 (a useful training run!).
The cool conditions (some might say cold) and a head wind in the second half of the race might have resulted in slower times being recorded by some `athletes` --- including myself!

The course is very flat,and therefore potentially fast with pb opportunities/potential.
